Isaacs on the Quay
When you visit Isaacs on the Quay you’re not only entering a contemporary bar and restaurant; you’re also stepping back into history as you enter a building that, in part, dates back to the early 15th century.
Now a bustling bar with live music every Sunday between March and October, Isaacs was named after the establishment’s previous owner, Isaac Lord. Our complex also includes a wedding venue and private function facility, as well as the beautifully restored Merchant House guest house.
Pizza Al Taglio, situated just next door, sells pizza by the slice. With a pizza to cover all tastes, whether you like meat, fish or vegetable options – there’s a slice or more waiting just for you. And that’s not all; we’ve also got our salad bar, perfect to enjoy alongside your pizza.
The Gardeners Arms
Our sister pub, The Gardeners Arms, is a great place to watch big screen sport and listen to live music. Situated at the bottom of Bishops Hill, the venue boasts 14 HD TV screens, as well as a pool table and a darts board, making it an ideal place to hang out with friends.
With a great line up of live music every Friday and Saturday night at 9pm, come along to hear from some of the best local cover bands, as well as the UK’s most popular tribute acts.
Situated behind The Gardeners Arms, Venue 77 offers an ideal location to host your next party. Whether you’re celebrating a big birthday, an anniversary or if you’d like us to host your wedding reception, Venue 77’s unique charm and versatile look can cater for your needs.
Please note, due to the recent government announcement, The Briarbank Bar and Brewery is now closed until further notice.
